People already walk around with set narratives in their heads.
To most people you’re most 99% likely to be an NPC to them.
And you know what?
That’s fine
there’s power in that if you really think about it.
The day I realized I was an NPC was when I replaced my coworkers shift last minute in hopes to get in my boss’s good graces and take his shift permanently (he quit).
Turns out she hired some iranian dude already.
And my boss is also iranian.
Shout out to iran though, you guys are hella smart and hella good at math.
Thank you for all your contributions to humanity.
Free the women though.
Anyways,
back to my story:
So i find out she ended up giving the shift to the iranian dude
and to be fair i respect it
La raza you feel me, gotta support another fellow tribe member i get it.
But damn.
I really am an NPC in this woman’s life aren’t i!
You can be as nice as you want
You can go the extra mile
but unless you mean a great deal to someone
you’ll forever be an NPC in someone’s life.
And your concerns will always be secondary to others.
Period.
The power lies in knowing what to do with this fact.
