with pizza grease on my fingertips
i have thought about a lot of things profoundly.
i have come to realize that
all of the connections you make
the connections in life that are of high intensity
those are the ones that make this ride worth it.
its in the reminder of death that we all find meaning.
i am thankful for the experiences
the memories
the joy shared with the beings I've come to love
long term or short term
time doesn’t matter.
its the love and the peace that was alive in those moments
no matter how long it lasted
I’m grateful.
